We recently conducted a home education survey and here are the results. We know it’s a long read, but it’s worth it. We feel it offers insight where there hasn’t been any before, and it ensures the voice of the home educating parent and child are heard.

Please share it with your MP, explain that home education is really important to your family, explain how home ed works for you. Ask that they read this research document and ask you (or Educational Freedom) any questions. Ask that they support you against a register as it will not achieve its intended goal, and will instead increase the harm to home educators. You could check with your local group if they’d be ok with inviting the MP to do a talk, it’s a great way of showing them what home education really is.
