The scrutiny committee met for the first time this week, and meet again today to start discussing the Childrens wellbeing and schools bill. This is where the first lot of amendments will be discussed. But they need to hear from you to know which parts are problematic (all of it if we are being honest), we can not rely on those giving evidence in person as they have already shown they have no understanding of what home education is or how the LAs behave.

It is still important to engage your MP, ask to meet, get them to understand what home education is, and how the bill won’t protect the children the government think it will.
