Below is the process the LA must follow. Please stop stressing about the provision and resource info (report) you’re providing. If the LA have questions they’ll ask. Remember, the LA duty isn’t to monitor or assess, it’s to be satisfied the child is in receipt of a suitable education, by saying you home ed and giving a brief outline is more than enough to satisfy their enquiries. How true is this? I can still remember so much I learnt by myself as a child, books I read, films I only watched once, facts from museums, but from the classes at school myself? Very few. This is why I love home education, we can teach the way our kids learn, we can make it interesting for them and we can ensure they understand a topic before we move!
