It is after very careful consideration and discussion that we have now decided to take full responsibility for providing for our son/daughter’s education by Home Educating them in accordance with section 7 of the 1996 Education Act. Our reason for doing so is that Home Educating will allow us more flexibility/allow X to follow their interests more CHOOSE ONE OF THESE OR GIVE ANOTHER POSITIVE REASON FOR YOUR CHOICE

We are aware that Local Authorities suggest that they and school could meet with the parent to discuss this decision however we are confident and happy to be choosing Home Education and are not in need of a meeting. We are fully conversant with the 2023 EHE guidance for Wales, we are fully aware and prepared to take full legal and financial responsibility for the educational provision.
