I am an Ofsted registered childminder with a strong focus on being outdoors. Although I do not home educate myself at present, my nieces are homeschooled and I completely understand that mainstream education is not suitable for all children, for a variety of reasons. My spaces for pre-school aged children are mostly full at present, however I feel it could be a huge benefit to the young children and older to spend time together, outdoors as much as possible. We can all learn from each other no matter how young or old we are, and of course learning is not just about maths and English but about social skills, nurturing those around us and learning that people come in all shapes and sizes, with different interests and ideas and that that not only is ok but it is a good thing. We are individuals and that should be celebrated!
I charge £5 per hour with a minimum attendance time of 5 hours from 9.30-2.30, and am open Monday to Thursday.
Please look at my Facebook page if you would like to see more about what we get up to, and feel free to contact me for more information.
I have cared for home educated children in the past, so have experience in this area. I offer a broad range of activities for all ages to keep children and young people engaged and interested in the world around them.
i have a Facebook page which shows some of the things we do, but I am happy to be child led in activities, so if they have something which is of particular interest to them, I will include it in my weekly planning.
Hello 🙂 I home educate my youngest son who is nearly 8, and have 2 older boys. I am happy to care for home ed children as I already have 3 that regularly come to me for childcare. I am a firm believer in children learning through their interests and mostly outside in every season. I am also a Level 3 Forest School Leader and ex primary school teacher.

I have a playroom for all age children that leads onto a small garden. I have children from babies up to the age of secondary school. I have worked with children for 16 years now in a nursery setting and now as a childminder. I’m very creative and like to get the children out on trips a lot. I am an Ofsted registered childminder. My own children are 24, 21, 13 and 8 years of age. My 13 year old is home ed. My 8 year old moved schools last year and seems to be very happy there. We are planning to deregister our youngest child when she finishes junior school. I would be happy to take on children who are age 5 and above. I love learning outdoors and feel that all areas of development can be covered by having fun.
