I have a playroom for all age children that leads onto a small garden. I have children from babies up to the age of secondary school. I have worked with children for 16 years now in a nursery setting and now as a childminder. I’m very creative and like to get the children out on trips a lot. Feel free to view my setting or page on Facebook
We are a registered childminders and nursery on domestic premises. We follow gentle parenting and learning through play principles with well qualified and experienced staff. We are currently trying to increase our forest school timetable too. We have older children before and after school and are happy to have home educated children up to the age of 11 during the day too. I have four children of my own, and, although the eldest two currently attend school, I am pro home educating and would do so in a heartbeat if school wasn’t the right place for them. They just happen to enjoy it at the moment. All files can be found on our website.

Hi, My name is Kirsty. I live just off West Street in Leek with my fiancé Matt, 21 month old son Caleb, his 9 and 10 year old siblings Kyle and Chloe and our beagle, Poppy.
I am Ofsted registered and have full and part-time spaces for pre-schoolers/babies and before and after school care collecting from Westwood First and St Edwards. (Independent arrival can be arranged for older children attending other schools if required). I can also offer places for school holidays only.
I offer a comfortable, home-from-home environment and am able to provide daily outings and child-specific activities.
Our typical day consists of an outing to the library, play group, soft play, park, shopping etc in the morning and craft, construction, stories, rhymes in the afternoon. All of which is based around children’s particular interests and stage of development. I am continuously adding to our already large range of resources to engage and entertain everyone.
I use a system called Baby’s Days and upload photos and diaries daily. The system also tracks your child’s development, you can view Next Steps and add you own observations from home, creating seamless care and learning.
I am continuously seeking further training and qualifications and am choosing courses which will most benefit the children in my care. I currently hold certificates in –
Supporting early language development
Communication and Language development
Level 2 in food safety
Paediatric first aid
The Prevent Duty in an Early Years Environment
Courses to understand an implement the Early Years Foundation Stage
