I am a Registered childminder in the Kelty area, providing quality care from birth to 16yrs. I take a mixed age of kids throughout the day and provide stimulating activities appropriate for the age/stage of the children. Such activities are: swimming, gymnastics, woodland adventures, trips in the bus/train, park visits, days out (animal parks, museums, science centre). We also enjoy indoor play, being creative (lego, baking, craft, play doh), encouraging imagination (den building, tea parties, role play).
Children in my setting are valued for their uniqueness and recognised that everyone is an individual, promoting equal opportunities, respecting views, ideas and opinions of others. They are encouraged to share their thoughts and are very much involved in the running of the service.

*TERM TIME ONLY VACANCY FROM JULY 2017* I am a childminder in Ardler, Dundee, 10 minutes walk from Ardler Primary School. I have a BA degree in primary education. Until I started childminding in 2009 I worked as an education officer at Sensation science centre in Dundee. I am married and have 2 girl who were born in November 2008 and March 2011
All children are involved in regular outings; we often visit Clatto which has several play parks, is great for walking, picnics, playing and feeding the ducks and swans. We also visit Camperdown regularly either to go to the parks, have picnics or to visit the animals. We also go to Pirate island and the fun factory soft play areas, local playgroups and Sensation on a weekly basis. During the warm weather we also visit Brechin castle and various other parks as often as the weather permits! There will also be regular visits to the library and organised groups and we have lots of playdates with other mums which encourages the children to play together, share and helps teach communication skills.
My most valuable experience is as a mum. I also have a BA degree in primary education. Until I started childminding in 2009 I worked as an education officer at Sensation science centre in Dundee. Hi Everyone!
My name is Eirian Taylor, I’m 28 years old and I am a registered as a childminder in Tayport, Fife. I am fully qualified and regularly inspected by the Care Inspectorate.
I have a HNC in Early Education and Childcare and experience of working in nurseries and schools. I also keep regularly up-to-date with courses and have recently completed a Paediatric first aid course and a food hygiene course.
I live on my own in a flat with a dedicated play room (please see photos on my website) and I have a full clean UK driving license with my own transport. I can pick up and drop off children to Tayport Primary School (this is only a 10 minute walk from where I live) and Tayport nurseries.
I aim to provide children with a safe, caring, warm and stimulating home from home environment where they can play and learn. They will receive individual attention, whilst also enjoying interaction with children of various ages. I like to spend time out of the house when possible, visiting play parks, beaches, libraries, walks, soft play and other places of interest. Indoors we will have lots of time for baking, art and crafts, games, stories, free play and much more.
I have Public Liability Insurance and I am a member of the SCMA (Scottish Childminding Association).
